College Admissions Office Closing On Holidays?
During the winter holiday, will college admissions office receive any information sent to them? Will the information be considered on time?

If your doing it online you will be fine. If you sent it through the mail, they will probably go by the postmark on the envelope. The office probably will not be open until the 5th of January.
Every office has its own policy; you would have to call or check their website to clarify.
Usually information has to be *postmarked* by a certain date to be considered on time. For example, my office will accept donations for the 2008 tax year if they are postmarked by midnight, December 31. Since our office closes at 3:00pm on Dec 31, any donations made over the phone must be done by 2:00pm to be considered on time.
As long as it is submitted by the deadline it will be considered on time — even if the staff is at a holiday party.
