What’s The Difference Between The Sat And Act Test?

i know you have to take the ACT test in order to get into a good college, but do you have to take an SAT test?

    i think you have it backwards. Most colleges prefer the SAT, but they will accept the ACT as well. like someone else mentioned, take them both (and maybe retake them if you are unhappy with your scores). I found the ACT to be easier, even though the math is supposed to be harder and there is a science section. I think the SAT has trickier questions with lots of wrong answers planted that look right, where the ACT is a little harder but more straightforward. anyways, you should take both.

    The SAT deals with more reading and writing questions while the ACT deals with more scientific and mathematics questions.

    Some colleges prefer one test over the other, I suggest you take both. They’re very similar, but the ACT has a science section and more English, as well as different math. It covers everything from elementary math to calculus. The SAT is only math, English, and writing and the math is mostly algebra and geometry.
