If your family is wealthy and you have the money to spend, and if it helps you to be more organized then go for it. But for that money, I think you’d be just as well off to enroll in an SAT or ACT test prep course or use it to fund a summer program at a university.
All of the services they provide can be found for free. Just read up on admissions and financial aid on the college websites and talk to your guidance counselor. You shouldn’t have to pay someone to help with admissions or to find scholarships for you.
Here are a few other useful free sites to help you plan for college:http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/
(college confidential is a message board where you can ask any questions about admissions, financial aid, and colleges that you’re interested in…a great FREE resource for planning and paying for college from people who are going through or have been through the admissions process)http://www.collegeboard.com/student/plan…

There are many other websites out there, but these should get you started.

Get your money back and go talk to some students who got into places you want to go. It’s not worth it.

Wow! I personally would never pay any money for that sort of service. Every college has an admissions office that does the assistance to get into that institution for free. If you apply, then they will help. I recommend getting a refund but it’s up to you.
