What constitutes a “lab science” when it comes to college admission? On College Board, the section which shows you if you have completed the necessary high school credits to enter a particular university has a “Of science, units that must be lab science”.
Lab sciences are biology, chemistry and physics – any course that includes a lab component, where you repeat classic experiments and use equipment. Some high schools offer science classes that don’t include labs – like psychology, or some anatomy courses without dissection – that don’t count towards the lab requirement for college.
