How Much Do Absences Affect College Admission?

I’ve had about 3-4 absences total this year, but each class has its own attendance, and I supposedly have 5 absences for spanish alone in a marking period. Every other class has 103 absences. freshman year. i don’t know whether transcripts show absences or not.

It depends on the college. High quality, Name brand colleges (Harvard, MIT, Stanford) get a zillion applications and they are looking for any reason to reject you. The local Community College probably doesn’t care if you show up after the first day when you pay your tuition.
It may also depend on your intended major. If you intend to get into Law, Medical, or Vet school for post graduate studies, again the admissions officers will be looking at every detail of your life. If you are taking General studies at a Party School, it won’t matter.
Why are you going to college? You obviously don’t care about school if you had 103 absences in one year.
