I Found Out My Sat Score And I Got A 1111 Im A Senior In Highschool And It Was My 1st Real Sat Test?
the college i want to go to accepts a 1022 is 1111 pretty good??? for somone who isnt in any higher level classes. Should i retake it for a higher score?
1111 is a good score. Congrats. You can take it again if you want, but you have a pretty solid score you can stand on. As long as you have good grades and a few activities, you should be good.
CONGRATS!
Retake it for a higher score. 1111 sucks. YOu can do better.
no that’s good, average is a 1000 – 1050. So congrats.
Yes, I’d try it again, especially if you didn’t practice beforehand. The first SAT practice test I took, I got a 1250. After taking a bunch of practice tests, I took the real thing and got a 1380–and the national merit scholarship. (I wasn’t in higher level classes either.) If you can, practice before you take it the second time. You’ll have a better chance of getting scholarships that way.
Wow lil boy go get yerself a lollipop and tell someone who cares , I scored a perfect score and guess what I still dont care! The smarter you are the more beer you’ll drink anyway
You definitely can do better! But word to the wise: you could also do worse. You’ve already met your goal, but you do have an opportunity to get an even higher score, and possibly earn a scholarship! If I were you, I’d contact the admissions office at the school you desire to attend and ask them for advice. If you do decide to take it again, go to your local bookstore and get a book on it. Be prepared to drop $30.00 on it, but trust me, it’s worth it! I took the PSAT and made an 1130 on the old scoring system (before they included the essay) and after getting a guidebook, I made a 1280 and qualified for a nice scholarship at my first choice school! If you have good study habits, you can do way better. Hope your quest to get into college goes well!
you will most likely get in but if you really want to impress them, you should retake it to get a higher score.
No don’t take it again. It’s a waste of time. Just take the ACT so you’ll have your bases covered in case you look at schools that want an ACT score.
Yeah, I’d retake it, just to see if you could get something higher. It’s worth it. But also, remember that that colleges look at more than just your SAT scores. They’ll look at extracurriculars, recommendations, and school performance too. Good luck!
Retake, schools will only see your highest scores. So it doesn’t hurt to retake it.
hmm… a couple..what 60 points off? im sure if u get the chance u should retake it..and if u do then Gl.
1111 is solid and you should have no problem getting in.
man i think that is excellent and it qualified for you to go to the college that you want, but if you want to persue the better college and it requires the higher score, you can do it again if you have that much of confidence, i dont see y not
Retake it. It doesn’t count against you if you do, so you got nothing to lose. 1111 is ok, it’s not great, but why not try for a better grade if there is nothing that is going to harm you?
Is your SAT score out of 1600 or 2400? If you took the SATs recently than it will be out of 2400 and no offence but that is below average. An average score is 1500. You might want to take some practice tests and than retake the SAT. But, if your a senior are you applying to college for this year or next year because I think that at most college the admissions has already been decided for this year. Retake the SATs, your score will probably improve.
not being familiar with the american school system and SAT’s, i do know that the lower the number the lower the grade. the higher the number, the higher the grade. something i learned in school was how to add and subtract. if the college you want to attend will accept applications from those with a score of 1022, then by shear subtraction of taking 1022 from 1111, you will have a surplus of 89 points. since you took the test, what would be a perfect score? if 1200 is top marks, it would appear you did well. if 1500 points is tops, you didn’t do as well. if 2000 points is tops, maybe study harder or consider a new career. at least a new college.
awesome…me personally I would not take it again. Not to be a b*#%h or nothing but what if you didn’t do so good the next time? I know I would be frustrated. Good luck which ever you choose to do. WAY TO GO
