College Assistance Admission, Is A Good Thing Or Bad?

ok, so one of my friends got in it, and he says that they send a list of colleges, and that they help you get in to the school you want to go, and that they can get you merit aid money, which is free money that you never have to pay back, but the thing is that when you want to get into college admission assistance, you have to pay $2000. I need advice on this, thanks.
can you say SCAM? NEVER pay for someone to help you find scholarships! They NEVER guarantee that you will GET aid….

Doesn’t your high school have counselors for the purpose of reviewing potential colleges? Could your school librarian assist you. No way should you be paying any group to help you which demands money.
