Does The Demand For Financial Aid Effect Admission Of A Student In College?

Can my college reject my application just because I have strong financial needs? I have prepared my financial need application but I just wanted to confirm if demanding too much financial aid for my under-graduation college can hamper my admission in that college?

Financial aid is independent of the admissions process to college. In fact most of the financial aid that you receive might not even come from the college itself. Also you cannot demand a certain amount of financial aid, financial aid is given to you based on your financial needs, determined by the information you provide when filling out the application for financial aid.
some types of financial aid include:
FAFSA (financial aid given by the federal government)
CAL Grant (specific to only california residents)
-both of these are independence of the college acceptance process
