Do Colleges Only Look At 3 Sat Ii Test Scores?

I already took the Chinese SAT II. I’m going to take the math and chemistry ones, but I also want to take the US History test.
I’ve heard that most colleges want you to take 2 or 3 SAT II tests. If I were to take 4, would they look at the scores for all 4 or would I be able to pick the 3 tests I want them to see?

They would see all SAT Subject Test (formerly SAT II) scores on the score report. You wouldn’t be able to pick. They usually consider all of the scores that they receive, so if you think that you can do well in all four, it would be more impressive than doing well in three, right?

can you pick the 2 SAT II scores to submit (or for some private colleges 3 scores). however, they do see all of your scores. you want to choose subject tests that are close to your major. for example: if you want to major in biochem, math and chemistry test scores are better than other unrelated subjects.
there are people say that other unrelated subjects are good because they show your wide capability. i don’t really agree because you want to show schools how well you’ve prepared for your major in college.
if a college needs three subject tests, you can send in one unrelated subject test (the highest score). but if it wants only two, pick the two closest to your major.

they only look at 2, they only recommend taking more because you might not do so well the first time. but you can actually pick which 2 to show them
