I’m thinking of taking Paramedics at humber college but I’m very worried about the Admission testing. I’ve taken General Arts and Science health profile at another college, and my GPA was a 3.0. Also how can i prepared for this test and what should i expect on the test….. I would like to thank everyone in advance for answering this question
Of course every test is hard, however, the worse thing you could possibly do is stress. Just make sure you study notes, read books, and ask certain questions that pertains to taking this kind of test, before the tests needs to be taken.
Asking certain questions and asking what will arise on this test, will give you some sort of relevance before taking any sort of test like this. I have a 3.5 (used to have a 4.0) and when I took my Admissions testing for medical, the test was very difficult, however, I passed the test because I told myself I would study hard, make great notes, and make sure I do not worry. Basically it is a mind over matter thing.
Make sure you understand what is being asked, don’t over think, and if you cannot answer a question, come back to the question later. Don’t worry about the time or how much time it will take or you have left. Understanding and relaxing is a key of not being too nervous when taking an admissions test.
Make sure you also research admissions testing results based on other schools and the school you are thinking about going too take the Paramedic test at. After comparing outweigh your options and the knowledge you feel like you can obtain if taking this admissions test or going to another college to take theirs and outweigh that based on the schools accreditation.
Doing so this would make it obvious as to why the tests are hard and or easy. Sometimes the best things you have to struggle for. Hope that this helps.
& Good luck to you… : )
