    First, I think you mean ACT in lieu of the SAT Reasoning Test (aka SAT I) I’ve never noticed the ACT being accepted in place of an SAT Subject Test (aka SAT II.)
    Anyway, probably best if you look at each school’s website for its particular requirements. It should all be spelled out there.

    Ditto the above. Check out the schools you’re interested in. ACT isn’t much used outside the Midwest, I think.
