University/college Admission Essay?

I’m applying to several universities for transfering this upcoming spring 2008. One of them requires an admission essay.
Here is an essay admission/question:
“Tell us more about your professional and intellectual aspiration and prior personal experience relevant to your ch

oice of a specific college program.”
I’ve got some advice from people that this essay is a professional essay that allows the applicant to explain where the University will fit into their professional and intellectual aspirations.
However, what should I write about? Professional Aspiration and Intellectual Aspiration? What do they really mean? I’d like to make sure that I understand these terms correctly.
Any suggestion and advice, anyone?
Thank you

I can’t tell you what to write about exactly, because I don’t know you. But, as a grad student with admissions experience and a former undergrad student, I can tell you that students want you to be yourself, have a unique voice, be passionate, and not tell them what you think they want to hear from you.
All that question really means is, what do you want to learn about and do with your life? What have you done and experienced that has brought you to this specific field and will help you succeed in it? (This is your chance to express your passions and tell them what in your resume is unique and special to you!)
Stick to the topic, and stick to the things that are truly important to you, and it’ll show in your essay. You’ll be fine!
