I Got A 1410 On The Sat Subjects Test Is That Good? Is It Better To Take The Subject Or Reasoning Test?
I’m freaking out and i don’t know what to do because it’s too late to take another test because i have to send my scores in before November is over. It’s also too late for me to take the ACT
The SAT subject tests are out of 800. Do you mean you took 2 subject tests and received a cumulative 1410? Or perhaps you mean that you took the reasoning test (out of 2400) and received a 1410.
A 1410 on the reasoning test is not very good- it would mean you got about a 470 on each section. Or, if you are talking about only the math and critical reading test, you have about a 705 on each, which is really good. Keep that score. If you are talking about two subject tests, same.
For most colleges, you will need the SAT reasoning w/ 2 subject tests or the ACT with writing. For the SAT, a good score is dependent on what college you want to go to. Generally, for the SAT, a 800-700 is excellent, a 700-600 is good, and below a 600 is bad. However, if you are planning to go to a school with a low SAT average, what is good and bad changes.
I hope I helped!
