Asking About College Admission?

I am all done applying to colleges. I’ve visited, had interviews etc. For my number one school, I have kept some contact with a counselor. I called her once and emailed her a few times. I also sent a thank you note. My parents want me to email her subtly asking her about the admission deci

sion. I didn’t think that was very professional and somewhat pushy…what do you guys think?!
