College Admission Question?

When applying for colleges can you use the same college admission essays for multiple colleges? Can you do the same with letters of recommendation? For example, if I were to apply to Penn State and NYU could one admission essay and one letter of recommendation and send them to both schools? Thanks in advance.

Yes, definitely reuse your letters of recommendation. You can also reuse your essays, but that’s slightly more risky. Make sure you tailor your essay to the school you’re applying to and the question they’re asking. Also, when you go to reuse the essay, make sure the name of another school is not anywhere in the essay!

Yes you can, but you need to read the application instructions because some admission essays ask you different types of questions. Letters of recommendation, definitely you send the same ones to everyone. Good luck!
