What Points Should An Employer Include When Writing A Reference Letter For A Student For College Admission?

An employee of mine wants me to write her a Reference letter for a university application and I’m not exactly sure how to write it.What points should I include? Is there a format? Or are there any known websites available that could help me with this? Please help!
