Is The Sat Test Made Up From Older Sat Questions ?

Well I can tell you that I found in the May 2 SAT (just few days ago) a question with the same pattern that other that I found in the Online Official Course SAT but with other numbers. I suppose that they use older questions but with different numbers.

you would want to answer as many questions as you feel safe to answer. it’s totally fine to guess (it’s actually preferred).
The way i look at it is if you can narrow your choices down to 2 or 3, go for the shot. if you get it wrong, you will lose a quarter of a point and if you get it right, you earn a whole point which compensates for 4 wrong answers. if you have no idea whatsoever as to what the answer is, i suggest you skip it.

I’ve taken the AP test already, and thought it was OK, not overly hard. But I’ve taken dome SAT II practice tests by Kaplan, and they were really hard.

Retention rate. If it’s really low, that means a lot of people are leaving that school for some reason.
Job placement rate. If it’s really low, it means not a lot of graduates of that school are able to find jobs or get into graduate school.
Financial aid. How many students receive some type of financial aid. What kind of scholarships/work study does the school offer.
Diversity. Look beyond the percentage of each ethnicity. Ask about ethnic organizations. While on a tour, see if students of different ethnicities actually interact with each other.
Awards the school has recently won. Whether in sports, music, literature or just general campus life. Gives you an idea of what the school is actually good at.
Internship opportunities. You should get some sort of experience in your field while as an undergraduate. Ask how many students do internships. What resources are available from the school to help students find internships.

Are the questions mainly concerning the outcomes of important battles, who participated in those battles, etc. or are they going to ask specific questions and what happened during particular battles?

I am currently a Senior in high school and have a GPA of 3.7. My top choices for colleges are LSU, Texas Tech, Nebraska-Lincoln, and New Mexico…..any advice on getting in or the individual college programs would be greatly appreciated!
