How Is A Gpa For Admission To A University From A Community College Looked At?

Say the admissive GPA for a university is a 2.0…If I am a transfer student from a community college, is that GPA they are looking for taken from ONLY the transferrable credits or is that GPA taken from your overall GPA that you have earned from your entire community college career?
